I am currently 21 and this makes me tear up not only because I myself can relate to the same unnessecary fears and worries, but because so many beautiful woman/men around me are striving for their view of perfection-if they just took a second to stop and breathe they would see that life is so much bigger than striving to be perfect and realize there are so many wonderful moments worth more than their worries. I read this, teared up & thought, way too many 27year olds, including myself would right a very similar letter to their younger selves. It makes me sad but then again it is those experiences that lead us to such empowerment & growth today that we may never have achieved without them.
