The freezing of fat-cells on your body – before & after.

Cryolipolisis, what? The word is a little tongue-twister like, but the technology behind the treatment is in fact pretty simple.

Cryolipolisis, cryo or just fat-freezing is exactly that; the freezing of existing fat-cells on your body.

Cryolipolysis, commonly known as ‘fat freezing’, is a non-surgical alternative used to reduce specific areas of fat. Cryolipolysis is a proven method of fat reduction which has been subject to clinical trials and scientific studies and has been proven to kill fat cells with no return of them in the treated area.

Unlike laser liposuction – which has little to no effect on destroying fat cells, or surgical liposuction which is an extreme treatment and an inherently invasive procedure with surgical risk, potential for adhesions, prolonged down time, possible scarring and post procedure pain – cryolipolyisis has little to no downtime.

I visited Body Sculpting Clinics to test it out on my own body. It’s important to know that Body Sculpting Clinics only uses TGA approved technology and that these treatments are non-toxic and have no downtime (unlike the others on the market). It’s a completely natural process where there are no injectables, anaesthetics or anything else involved in this treatment.

Double Chin Reduction with Cryolipolysis & HIFU Skin Tighthening:

Using the same technology as Cryolipolysis, this treatment targets specifically the fat cells under the chin.

By lowering the temperature underneath the skin to -6 degrees it causes the fat cells in the area to die.

No other structures are affected by this process. The remaining content of the fat cells is then disposed of naturally through the body’s lymphatic system.

Unlike other double chin procedures, this treatment is non-invasive, virtually painfree and has no down time.

The procedures at Body Sculpting Clinics work by reducing fat cells by the process of apoptosis, which is the freezing and cooling of the cell to induce the natural cellular death process of submental fat cells.

This procedure is best combined with HIFU for skin tightening to really help shape, lift and contour the area to give the jawline and neck profile a more defined appearance.

My experience with Fat Reduction & Skin Tightening at Body Sculpting Clinics:

I’ve personally had 2 x Fat Reductions done on my chin + 1 x HIFU Skin Tightening on my jawline, and I’m really pleased with the results.

I’ve always had a double-chin – whether I weighed in at 40 kilos when I was very sick or at 60 kilo’s when I was a bit larger – it’s always been the one area that doesn’t budge on me no matter what my weight is.

I had never thought about doing anything about it, neither did I know that you in fact could do something about it, however when I read about the treatment, I was pretty intrigued to hear how you could target an area on your body you may want to improve, but completely naturally, non-invasive and with no downtime.

The freezing of the fat-cells doesn’t hurt at all during the process. The only time you’ll experience a slight discomfort, will be when the tool is removed from your skin as it’s been cooling your skin down to minus degrees, and when your skin starts to heat up to body-temperature again it’ll hurt a little bit – this will only be about 2-3 minutes, however.

There was also a slight discomfort through the HIFU Skin Tightening but again, it was a matter of a few minutes.

(HIFU) uses both Micro and Macro Ultrasound technology, by delivering precisely focused beams of ultrasound energy at three different depths in the skin’s layers. The body’s natural wound healing response results in the formation of new collagen which leads to a long term tightening of the skin.

I also found that it actually has helped on my acne-scarring as it caused ‘trauma’ to that area, and helped my skin regenerate itself further on those particular areas.

I have to say, I did start to notice a bit of a change already a month after my first treatment. After the 2nd treatment I noticed a dramatic difference, especially when I would even try to force my own double-chin when bending my chin towards my chest..

It wasn’t until I saw the before & after photos, however, that I completely saw the transformation and difference the treatments had made to my profile in particular.

I’m so thrilled that I did this, and I have loved the results so much.

It’s important to know that these treatments do not substitute a healthy diet and a good exercise regime. It’s simply to help you target those areas that may be very stubborn for you and you want to improve but not alter. Makes sense?
