Firstly; how is it already March? And how is it almost already over as well?
Secondly; it’s that time of the month to show you my favourite beauty products of March that I’ve been testing out since my last batch of products in February .
Read on to see what’s working for me this month & what I’m currently doing backflips over:
My Daily Dose of Glow from Skin Inc.:
I’m obsessed with serum-additions to my “standard” day & night-cremes, as I feel like those are really the little helpers that work magic on your skin.
This little buddy not only looks super cute but also works wonders in the glow-department! It contains Vitamin A which is clinically proven to support the skin’s natural renewal process and help fight pollution & ageing. It also contains nutrient-rich chlorella extract that tackles skin dullness, reduces the appearance of pigmentation, and evens skin tone for a clearer, brighter-looking complexion + hydrolyzed molecules of hyaluronic acid to keep your skin extra hydrated under your day or night creme.
Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Highlighter in Vanilla Quartz from Becca:
Continuing on with the glow, I’m loving this limited edition Highlighter from Becca Cosmetics. I’ve been a fan of Becca Cosmetics for quite sometime, and I’m loving their bronzers as well.
This little treasure-chest makes you glow like the sun. A little bit goes a long way, so don’t over do it, because no one wants to look like a shiny teenager (sorry!). A little dap on the brow-bone, cheekbones, back of the nose & cupid’s bow is all you need to reflect the natural light and bring out your own beauty.
Glow Advanced Inner Beauty Powder from The Beauty Chef:
This isn’t really a “a new kid on the block” on my shelves. I’ve been using the Glow-powder from The Beauty Chef for quite some time now, and I can certainly see a difference in the radiance and glow of my skin.
The Glow-Powder is a daily beauty blend, containing 24 Certified Organic, bio-fermented and probiotic superfoods, for good gut health and healthy, glowing skin.
It’s rich in vitamins and minerals, supports digestive & immune health, helps reduce internal & external inflammation in the skin, boosts collagen thanks to Vitamin C, rich in prebiotics and soluble fibre to feed the beneficial bacteria in your gut, contains zinc for healthy skin, hair & nails and is certified organic.
Basically, it contains everything that your insides love so that your outsides can continue to shine on!
Just have it in the morning mixed with water or even add it to your smoothies or juices. Done.
Infrared Sauna Session at Nimbus & Co. through Class Pass:
I’ve started getting more & more into Infrared Sauna Sessions due to the benefits, how I feel after them and how much they make my skin GLOW.
A traditional sauna uses convection and conduction to heat the surface of your skin. Infrared saunas however use infrared heating panels that emit light, helping your body to detoxify, giving a deeper cleansing experience. The infrared light can’t be seen by the naked eye, but it gives off what’s called radiated head, penetrating deep within your tissues, muscles and cells.
Unlike traditional saunas, the air in an infrared sauna is a lot drier making it easier to breathe. This form of slow heating makes infrared saunas a much more comfortable experience than a traditional one, however don’t fret, you will SWEAT!
Infrared Sauna is good for detoxification, anti-ageing, chronic conditions like arthritis & fibromyalgia, skin health, immune system, pain relief, stress reduction and much more..
I’m lucky that my local Infrared Sauna Boutique Studio is on Class Pass which makes it easy and cost-effective.
Iles Formula Finishing Serum from Edwards & Co.:
If anyone knows me, they know my crazy hair has a life of it’s own.
After years with sickness, my hair really suffered. I lost patches of hair during treatment, and the rest of it became frail, thin and lost it’s strength.
Fast forward 4 years, my hair is finally starting to make a come-back. But it’s been a mix of a healthy diet, supplements and good haircare. The team at Edwards & Co. has taken care of my hair for over 7 years, and has helped me bring back stronger blonde locks.
One of the products I was recommended for my hair as a leave-in-treatment was Iles Formula.
I have been using it for 1/2 year now, and I absolutely cannot live without it! It’s super light so it doesn’t weigh your hair down, it’s smells incredible and it’s so moisturising your locks will just lap it straight up!
Even though it says serum, it’s more like a lightweight moisturiser, so it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy!
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
EVO Fabuloso ‘Platinum Blonde’ Conditioner from Edwards & Co.:
If you want cool, blonde locks, this is your best friend in the shower! And I don’t mean cool, as in smart, but cool as in cool-cold blonde locks.
I really don’t like when my hair turn into a warm-blonde, I’ve always loved my hair with a cool tint/tone to it.
So once-twice a week, I’ll use this purple conditioner in my hair – leave it on for 4-5 minutes – rinse, and your locks are back to platinum again!
If you have frail, blonde hair, you’d know that the ‘purple’ shampoos are often very harsh on the hair and strips it for it’s natural oils, resulting in breakage and clumps, however the conditioners are much more soft on the hair + nourishing, meaning you’re doing the hair good! Win/Win!
Agave Lip Balm from Bite Beauty:
My lips dry out incredibly quickly, whether it’s summer or winter – they just don’t like to stay moist.
So, because of it, I always have a stash of lip balms in all my jackets or bags – just in case.
Recently I was gifted this little fella, and it’s my favourite one at the moment.
It’s a nourishing formula made with agave and Madagascan vanilla extract to keep lips hydrated and protected all day long to quickly repair and restore them throughout any season of the year.
See you next month for more new beauty-product favourites..
Let me know if there are any products in particular you’d like me to review?
