My Daily Skincare Routine

I get a lot of questions regarding my skin. If you remember, I wrote an article about my life-long battle with cystic acne and how Laser Clinics Australia Bondi Junction has really helped me turn this around with treatments like Byonik (laser) and now I’m undergoing Needling and Fractional RF.

I wanted to briefly take you through my daily skincare routine, however, as this is really where the improvement to your skin also lies. You have to be diligent and have a morning/night routine, and be especially strict with not deviating away from this if your skin is hormonal like mine is.

I currently only use Skinstitut products which is a range developed by Laser Clinics Australia. This means they are both fitted to suit my skin (reassessing my skin after every facial-treatment I have weekly/fortnightly) but also fits the treatments I go through. These products have really made an incredible difference on my skin, and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough (no, I’m not paid to say this!).

Let me take you through my Skincare Routine..

Morning: 

1. Cleanse with L-Lactic Cleanser
2. Spray with Multi-Active Mist and let it dry for 30 seconds
3. Hydrate with Moisture Defence for Oily Skin + mix it with some 100% Vitamin C
4. Apply SPF50 Moisture Defence (always protect your skin against the sun!!!)

Night:

1. Cleanse with Glycolic cleanser 12% (TWICE, always!)
2. Spray with Multi-Active Mist and let it dry for 30 seconds
3. Apply 1 pump of the Retinol Serum and let it absorb
4. Apply 1 pump of Ultra Firming Eye & Neck Cream around my eyes and mouth
5. Hydrate with Moisture Defence for Oily Skin + mix it with some 100% Vitamin C

Twice a week:

I use the Enzymatic Micro Peel – ladies, this is the little saviour you need in your life! Pop it on cleansed skin, massage it in and let it sit for 15 minutes, then wash it off thoroughly with warm water. It’s a great masque that really brings the life and glow back in your skin instantly!

Once a week/one every fortnight:

As I mentioned I go once a week/every fortnight to get a special facial treatment at Laser Clinics Bondi Junction – it really is important as, if you like me, have scars/acne, you focus with a more specialised treatment that these products can help in combination with.
